The experience you have will vary depending on the teacher you have. There is no accountability from the administration from the special education team. The culture overall for children with invisible disabilities is judgemental and intolerant. Discipline is the first resort in most situations. If you are forced to send your child to this school, have a backup option ready because the school system has known for years about problems at this school with special education and no visible change has been made to protect the families.

Roosevelt has been an amazing school for my kids. We have been there for the past 5 years. Project-based learning is such an immersive and engaging way to bring the kids into the topics, and it makes them really curious learners. I've been continually impressed with the depth of what my kids have learned at school. I especially love the school community. We've made great friends with the other families, and the teachers and staff are incredible.

The school has a diverse population and everyone is cared for as far as i have seen. The teachers are great and have a passion for what they do. No school is perfect. My children learned a lot and their teachers are great. They are trying their best. Thank you Babcock!

There is not a curriculum of any kind here. Teachers with teaching certifications or even teaching education or experience quit rapidly, even just this year, the only ones left are people with none. The principal ladie is…apparently a doctor? Sure. We were sold a really great idea. Emphatically courted until we signed a contract and paid, and then we were asked for “work days” and NORE money, nearly weekly. What we have witnessed in our daughter’s time there hasn’t just not been the marketed education and enrichment, it hasn’t been much of anything at all. She has actually lost math skills and I am worried about her reintegrating at a real school because of the academic damage of a full year with no teaching. Nobody at the school seems aware that the kids aren’t being taught anything except how to hike. There are kids (not little kids) in my kids class who cannot read. They are going through puberty illiterate, and unsupervised, it seems. If id wanted my family to join never never land, id have sought out a commune, not a school. We just got a random email from this school about a teacher who crashed while diving drunk with other people’s children in her car, but we’ve also been made aware by other parents that that wasn’t the situation at all, and the principal just told all us parents about it without even speaking to the woman in question first. Since there was no actual information about the incident in what was sent to us out of the blue, and no transparency of any kind, we don’t know what to believe. The children are being spoken to about the event by adults, but fancy doctor ladie doesn’t seem to have info, and has instantly abandoned a teacher, without any investigation of an incident? Or is it that drink drivers really DO work at this school? The injuries our kid has come home with don’t have any explanations, the nurse can’t even clean bloody children up before pickup. My child has told me that no adults are present at recess, which is all day some days, if they aren’t just hiking. Ticks are awful and no effort seems made about it. Trying to ask about this things in the office is funny to the people who work there, so I don’t bother anymore. I can’t believe we were swindled out of so much money so that we could watch our kid lose skills and be physically endangered at school. We will make sure anyone who asks knows what a joke this place is. I have heard how great clear springs is for years, it never occurred to me that its a front

My son goes to this school. It is a Title 1 school and he has friends from a lot of different backgrounds and uprbringings. He loves all of his teachers and they do a good job of challenging him with new stuff when he needs extra. They do a great job of individualizing for the students and making sure everyone is happy. The principal is amazing and is always outside in the mornings greeting the kids. The staff is always smiling and the kids are always smiling when they are walking in. The culture is really positive. A lot of people come out to all of the PTA and Title One events. It's a small town and the school really is a huge social spot for the town and the staff embraces that. We could not be more pleased with the school experience.

I have three students at Dye, our family has been here for the past 5 years. My oldest started in developmental kindergarten and is now in fourth grade, I also have a third and second grade student. One receives special education and that entire department is very helpful addressing my child’s needs. They all have amazing teachers. The school provides extracurricular activities for the kids and a lot of family nights. I’m happy my kids are Dye Bulldogs.

Utterly disappointed in this school, especially after such high ratings. The school is dangerous for the kids. There are children stabbing other children with pencils, unsupervised special needs children, major bullying issues and complete lack of control from the teachers and administration. One teacher allowed a kid to have soiling accidents 4 times before deciding it was ok to reach out to parents. Teachers wait almost a month before reaching out to other parents about genuinely concerning incidents that should be addressed immediately. Not to mention the teaching methods are questionable at best and, call me old school, but the idea of no homework and the future possibility of kids having days off of school is frightening enough to make us leave the district entirely. It is surprising no one else has put in negative reviews. These numbers have not been updated since 2018. We have heard horror stories about the Vancouver city school district from Evergreen to Felida. If we weren’t concerned about our child’s immediate well being we would stay and make conversation with the district but we simply do not have the time. You have been warned!

This school likes talking about how great it is but it does not live up to the standards it sets for itself. The headmaster is a horrible person and The upper school principal should be put in a mental institution. I seriously worry for every student that goes to Covenant.

My almost 6 year old is almost done with kindergarten here and I LOVE everything about St Linus. Drop off and pick up is a breeze. When she is at school I am very reassured and don't get anxious about her at all. (I have very bad anxiety) Every adult in this school is so kind and caring they all are just wonderful. The education in class and church have been great. She is super confident and loves being at school. I am so grateful to everyone there and would never send my kids anywhere else!

Wonderful school! My child moved to St. Timothy's for middle school and it has been a great experience. The middle school years can be tough socially at any school, but the administration and teachers at St. Timothy's handle these situations with care and expertise. The academics, athletics and other extracurricular opportunites have exceeded our expectations. The teachers and administrators are excellent and truly care about the students. Highly recommend!
