I am a big believer in providing my children with a strong foundation . I believe that Maestra Michelle, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Jordan along with the help of Ms. Amber have provided just that and more. My children arrived at Arborland during COVID and though this school was going to be a temporary stepping stone , it has become their foundation for growth and development . They will be shortly completing second grade. The staff here is quite outstanding . Ms. Chen , the principal is very personable . Ms. Martinez, the backbone of the school is just a delight of knowledge , support and my guiding star. Ms. Cynthia is nurturing , encouraging, supportive, and definitely very committed. Children are excelling not only in math and reading but they are doing well in Spanish and Mandarin. My kids have learned to be comfortable in front of large crowds as they have recitals and culture week performances, that are quite entertaining. We feel like family at Arborland. I admire the love my children have for their teachers and how they always want to share their accomplishments with them . This is a close niche community . The education in my opinion is top notch as the standardized testing is a tangible way to show the success, progress and learning that is taking place at the school. My children have been year after year improving and excelling . The after school activities are in abundance . I want to thank each and every staff member at Arborland for making my children feel safe as I have entrusted my children’s future in your hands

What would you call if your childs grades got lowered shortly after writing a bad review? I get grades sent weekly. I guess thats the world we live in. Where is the leadership ? Unethical behavior

Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews. They are all over 4 years old, before the current owners purchased and took it over. Two weeks ago (4/12/24), on a Friday afternoon, my 1 1/2 year old daughter was abruptly removed from Montessori Central School where she had been attending since October of last year (2023). A little background. That same Friday morning, I had informed the school that my 3 1/2 year old son, who was also attending Montessori Central, and whose tuition was paid up for the next two weeks, would no longer be attending the school effective the end of that school day. I had found an alternative Montessori program that I felt would be a better fit for my son’s needs. However, I did inform the staff that my daughter would remain in attendance at the school. I cannot adequately express to you how shocked I was when, while picking my children up at the end of that school day, I was met by a staff member who handed me all my daughter’s possessions. I was told further that the reason for her disenrollment was explained in an email from the director that I was encouraged to read. To quote the director, “Your dissatisfaction is a sad situation [referring to me removing my son], and as the result, we are notifying you that today is also [my daughters name] last day of Montessori Central School. Their belongings will be available for pickup today’. This action levied against my daughter was clearly vindictive payback for disenrolling my son and speaks volumes about the character of the owner/director. To remove her so close to the end of the school year, without warning, put me in a terrible bind, directly affecting my job and forcing me to spend hours trying to find a program that would accept my daughter on short notice. To date, I have still not found a program that has room for her. I would highly recommend that you DO NOT send your children to this school. The couple that runs this school simply lack the compassion and competency to operate and run a Montessori educational program. Further, there is frequent unexplained staff turnover, and a general lack of transparency. My son was very unhappy in the program and I only wish I would have removed him sooner.

Like any middle school, Libby has its ups and downs, but overall, it is a pretty cool school, and has some pretty good classes for more academic learners or 'advanced' students. The teachers are cool (though some are a bit crazy), the curriculum is well thought out, and they reinforce character, even introducing a class on Fridays called "Character Strong" to try and help students' well-being. Even if it isn't perfect, the staff is certainly trying their best and making an impact. Could things be improved? Certainly. Are they being improved? As much as they can.

While the learning materials are great, it is not uncommon for students to slur and say racist, homophobic, and downright derogatory things simply for the fun at it. I was recently told racist things against Asian people. I am Asian. However, compared to experiences at other schools, Leona Libby is a much tamer place to send your kid. Learning is great, environment? Not so much.

I’m a student here in New Harvest Christian academy and I LOVE it . I’ve been there since I was 2 and not once have I had a problem. We learn stuff that most people are age haven’t learned yet which really helps us in the future. We do all kinds of activities such as art , library, music,Bible, and chapel. All the kids there are very creative .oh , and the lunches aren’t like the public schools lunch’s there so good . I honestly love all the teachers there . I really encourage you to send your child there next Year . Sometimes we’ll do things like plays such as our annual mission’s festival or our spring concert, and even a talent show at the end of the year . I really hope you send your child(ern) next year! Have a good day!

St. Raymond's Catholic School in Dublin, CA, embodies everything you'd want in a nurturing educational environment. As a parent, I've been incredibly impressed by the school's dedication to providing a well-rounded education grounded in strong values. One of the highlights of St. Raymond's is undoubtedly its exceptional Kindergarten teachers. They possess a rare combination of expertise, patience, and genuine care that makes the transition to school a seamless and joyful experience for both children and parents. Their commitment to fostering a love for learning in the youngest students sets a solid foundation for academic success in the years to come. Ramiro R-

Drew Elementary has been through an incredibly challenging 5 year period, but it is a school where I would encourage my neighbors to send their kids. Following a contentious boundary realignment by the school district in 2018, the school community was just beginning to form during the 2019-2020 school year when covid upended education. The 2022-2023 school year was the first "normal" year for most of our students, where the administration, teachers, students, and families re-established routines. The teaching staff and administration have stabilized, the PTA is rebounding, and traditions feel normal again. The 4th and 5th grade choir is back to winning competitions. The band and orchestra concerts are standing-room only. We have more students on rec sports teams than before. The annual Multi-Cultural Night and end of year celebrations (including Drew Day and the Peace Walk) are supported by the community and neighborhood. New playgrounds were installed in spring 2024. 30+ languages are spoken by our families, which represent a cross-section of the world and enrich our students' experience in a way the test scores don't reflect.

I am a current educator at Pearson Elementary and my sons have attended this campus. They had wonderful memories and enjoyed their elementary years to the fullest. As a current teacher at Pearson Elementary, I work with some of the best teachers and assistants that truly care for the students and their education. Pearson Elementary is a great school with superior leadership.

Unfortunately, we are zoned for this school. Run far from this school if you can. My children were coming from with bruises on them from other kids bullying them at school (physically and verbally). I followed allnproper routes and nothing was done. The teachers claimed it's not bullying because it was happening to other kids too and that there was nothing they could do about it. Teachers are not supported by the admin to be able to make a difference. I ejded up having to file a report with the district to have anything done. My children went from loving school to being severely depressed and now they hate going to school. They don't feel safe at school and I have since pulled them out and resorted to home schooling.

I cannot say enough about how incredible Immanuel Lutheran School is. A friend recommended the preschool program and we’ve never looked back! The class sizes are small, so the teachers really get to know your child’s strengths, weaknesses, and personality. This helps them build actual individualized learning plans, not one size fits most. The students are all wonderful, kind and caring. They have a bible buddies program that pairs younger kids with bigger kids. It’s mostly arts and crafts and little projects together. I have absolutely loved this program. It has been such a blessing to my children to have the positive influence of the older students, and now my children get to be that same influence for preschoolers! Immanuel is building future leaders! I am so glad we chose to send our children to Immanuel, instead of Elmhurst 205. They love going to school every day; they actually cheer for joy when it’s Sunday night. Lastly, my husband and I are not from the area, the community among the parents has been something we are incredibly grateful for.
